Rustins Quick Dry Decking Oil is a high quality, water based product for the effective treatment of wooden and composite outdoor decking, and other exterior wood structures and garden furniture.
It comes in a 5L tin and is suitable for softwood, hardwood, and composite materials. It nourishes and protects all surfaces and helps to bring out and enhance their natural beauty.
This decking oil increases the water repellency of surfaces and provides a durable satin finish. It also features UV absorbers and a biocide to protect from sunlight, weather, and the growth of mould and mildew - prolonging the appearance of your outdoor areas.
The versatile decking oil is easy to use and maintain and can even be applied to damp timber. It is a low odour and low toxicity product that is safe to use in the garden.
When applying the oil, the bare wood must be clean, smooth, dry, and free of dust, dirt, wax, algae, mould and other contaminants.
Coverage is approx. 14 sq. m per litre per 1 coat.

Preparation: The bare wood must be clean, smooth, dry, and free of dust, dirt, wax, algae, mould and other contaminants. Where the deck is weather-stained, discoloured or of poor appearance Rustins Decking Cleaner or Rustins Composite Decking Cleaner can be used to clean and revive the wooden surface prior to application of Rustins Quick Dry Decking Oil
Application: Stir well before use. Apply liberally with a clean brush, (use largest practical size of brush, ideally synthetic bristle type designed for applying water-base varnishes), allowing a minimum of 3 hours
between coats. Try to keep a wet edge as overlapping a dry film will produce a darker patch, as it will drip and run
Coats: Minimum of 2 coats. Extra coats may be required for softwood or weathered decking. Note the final colour will depend on the original colour of the wood and the number of coats applied
Drying Time: Touch dry in 30 mins. Dries in 3 hours depending on temperature & humidity
Re-coating Time: Minimum of 3 hours, depending on temperature & humidity
Application Temp: Ideally 15-25°C, Do not apply below 10°C, in high humidity/damp conditions or if rain imminent
Coverage: About 14 sq. m per litre per 1 coat
Maintenance: Periodic re-oiling is required. When applying to previously oiled wood the surface should be cleaned thoroughly and be free from contaminants
Compatibility: May be used over existing oil based finishes but test for compatibility on a small test area first. If applying over wood previously treated with a wood preserver, also test a small area first to ensure

Goods Return Procedure
At Trade Gear Limited (trading as Outdoor-Style.co.uk), we strive to offer excellent customer service. We want to make your rights as a consumer and our procedures as clear as possible. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to cancel/return orders or report faulty/missing products.
Right To Cancel Order & Return Goods
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations (which replaced the Distance Selling Regulations), you have the right to cancel your order and return the goods for a refund within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. (Bespoke and perishable products are excluded).
You must have your receipt and the goods must be in new, unused and undamaged condition, with all packaging.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must clearly inform us via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or post (Suite 16 Stanley Grange, Earl of Derby Estate, Liverpool, L34 4AR) of your decision to cancel the contract, within the 14 day cancellation period.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the communication before the cancellation period has expired.
Order Cancellation & Returns Process
If you choose to exercise your right to cancel, you will need to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. This may involve either posting the goods yourself or paying a collection charge.
We will inform you of the returns address in our communication to you. This is separate to our registered office address. Please do not send goods to our registered office address, as this is our administration office, not where returns are processed. If you send goods back to our registered office address, the returns process may be delayed and you may be charged for carriage to send the goods to the correct address.
We will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for any supplementary costs if you chose a delivery option other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us). We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will refund you within 14 days of returning the items.
Reimbursement will be made using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Faulty & Missing Products
If you discover, upon receipt of your order, that the goods are damaged, please notify us straight away by sending a photo and description to email@example.com. On receipt of the goods, they will be inspected to check for the fault. If agreed to be faulty, we can either repair or replace the goods under warranty or we can refund the amount to your account. If however we do not find the goods to be faulty, they will be returned to you at your cost.
If an item or component is missing, please locate the product name on our website, on your order confirmation or in the assembly instructions and notify us via the above email address. We will endeavour to resolve any issues as soon as possible by replacing or supplying any damaged or missing goods free of charge.
