Rustins All Star Wood Treatment is an all purpose and long lasting protective treatment for outdoor wooden surfaces.
It prevents infestation and re-infestation of wood boring insects, prevents wood rot, and eliminates fungi.
It is suitable for different types of timbers, including pine, oak, mahogany, and more.
Rustins All Star Wood treatment is also suitable for internal and external use and can be re-coated while the surface is still wet - allowing for quick treatment.
Ensure that timber surfaces are clean and free from previous coatings, grease and contaminants. Surfaces may be damp, but the product should not be applied to decayed wood which will need to be removed and replaced.
Apply at a rate of 100 ml/ m2. (1L per 10 m2) for a preventative use against wood boring beetles. Apply at a rate of 152.8 - 200 ml/ m2. (1L per 5 m2) for a preventative use against wood rotting fungi. Apply at a rate of 200 ml/ m2. (1L per 5 m2) for a preventative use against wood boring beetles, termites and wood rotting fungi. Apply at a rate of 300 ml/ m2. (1L per 3.3 m2) for curative use against wood boring beetles.
This clear wood treatment is available in 1 litre and 5 litre sizes.

Intended Use: Rustins All Star Wood Treatment is a water based, low odour, non-flammable product based on optimised formulation technology. The ultra-fine particle size allows deep penetration of the treatment to take place so the performance of the product is much greater than standard wood treatment products. It is nonflammable, quick drying and can be applied to wet or dry timbers. For preventative treatment against wood boring beetles, termites and wood rotting fungi. Also for curative treatment against wood boring beetles. For use on hard & soft wood. Requires sealing with a suitable film-forming paint or varnish, especially if used outside

Preparation: Ensure that timber surfaces are clean and free from previous coatings, grease and contaminants. Surfaces may be damp but the product should not be applied to decayed wood which will need to be removed and replaced
Application: Shake well and stir before use. Apply two coats using a brush or low pressure spray. Exterior application must be by brush ONLY. Depending on the drying conditions, the second application should be applied before the first is dry. Ensure all end grain is thoroughly soaked as this is especially prone to water ingress and resulting decay

Drying Time: Temperature and humidity will affect the rate of drying. It is important that after the first application the surface is not allowed to dry out and ideally should be damp when the second application is carried out

Shelf-life/Storage: Store in a cool, well ventilated area. Keep container tightly closed. The floor of the storage room must be impermeable to prevent the escape of liquid. Must only be kept in original packaging. Shelf life 2 years. Protect from frost
Hazards: Spillage & Disposal: Collect spillage if safe to do so. Contain and collect spillage with a suitable absorbent and put into a securely sealed, leak proof container. Label container for disposal as hazardous waste. Avoid an accidental discharge into sewers, surface water or soil. Soil contaminated by the undiluted product should be treated as hazardous waste. In case of an accidental discharge of a large amount of the product to surface water, groundwater or sewer inform the appropriate authorities according to local regulations. Empty containers, unused product and other waste generated during treatment are considered hazardous waste. Dispose of in accordance with local regulations. Do not release to soil, ground, surface water or sewers. Precautions: Not to be used in and near food preparation area. Avoid contact with nonabsorbing surfaces like plastics, metal, bitumen and roofing felts. If in doubt, contact our technical department. The colour illustrated on the tin is a guide only. Please try on inconspicuous area before proceeding with the whole job. First Aid: If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. IF IN EYES: remove contact lenses, rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. IF ON SKIN: wash with soap and plenty of water, without rubbing. IF SWALLOWED: do NOT induce vomiting. If necessary attend hospital and show the label or packaging if possible. Do not leave poisoned person unattended. UK medical professionals should contact the National Poisons Information Service (www.npis.org) for further advice. Pyrethroids and Pyrethrins may cause paraesthesia (burning and prickling of the skin without irritation). If symptoms persist get medical advice. This product contains Permethrin; Pyrethroids can cause facial paraesthesia. Poisoning may cause: Irritation or/and allergic skin reaction, irritation of eyes, mucosa, respiratory tract and gastrointestinal tract. Do not use on wood which may come into direct contact or with food, feeding stuffs or livestock animals. Avoid prolonged contact of pets, particularly cats, to treated surfaces. All bats are protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act of 1981. Before treating any structure used by bats consult Natural England, Scottish Natural Heritage or the Countryside Council for Wales
Clean-Up: Remove as much product as possible and return to this container. Brushes should then be cleaned immediately with water

At Trade Gear Limited (trading as Outdoor-Style.co.uk), we strive to offer excellent customer service. We want to make your rights as a consumer and our procedures as clear as possible. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to cancel/return orders or report faulty/missing products.
Right To Cancel Order & Return Goods
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations (which replaced the Distance Selling Regulations), you have the right to cancel your order and return the goods for a refund within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. (Bespoke and perishable products are excluded).
You must have your receipt and the goods must be in new, unused and undamaged condition, with all packaging.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must clearly inform us via email (email@example.com) or post (Suite 16 Stanley Grange, Earl of Derby Estate, Liverpool, L34 4AR) of your decision to cancel the contract, within the 14 day cancellation period.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the communication before the cancellation period has expired.
Order Cancellation & Returns Process
If you choose to exercise your right to cancel, you will need to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. This may involve either posting the goods yourself or paying a collection charge.
We will inform you of the returns address in our communication to you. This is separate to our registered office address. Please do not send goods to our registered office address, as this is our administration office, not where returns are processed. If you send goods back to our registered office address, the returns process may be delayed and you may be charged for carriage to send the goods to the correct address.
We will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for any supplementary costs if you chose a delivery option other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us). We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will refund you within 14 days of returning the items.
Reimbursement will be made using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Faulty & Missing Products
If you discover, upon receipt of your order, that the goods are damaged, please notify us straight away by sending a photo and description to firstname.lastname@example.org. On receipt of the goods, they will be inspected to check for the fault. If agreed to be faulty, we can either repair or replace the goods under warranty or we can refund the amount to your account. If however we do not find the goods to be faulty, they will be returned to you at your cost.
If an item or component is missing, please locate the product name on our website, on your order confirmation or in the assembly instructions and notify us via the above email address. We will endeavour to resolve any issues as soon as possible by replacing or supplying any damaged or missing goods free of charge.
